Cookie Policy

The small set of cookies this site uses, and how to turn them off.

Last updated: TODO — set effective date

This document is a plain-language starting point and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Please have it checked against your jurisdiction before you publish.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between pages and visits — for example that you are logged in, or which options you selected.

2. What we use them for

berryin.com uses a deliberately small set:

  • Strictly necessary — keeping the site working, remembering your preferences and protecting forms against abuse. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics — understanding, in aggregate, which pages people find useful so we can improve them.

TODO: list the specific cookies, their provider and their lifetime once analytics is installed.

3. What we do not use

We do not run advertising cookies on this site, and we do not sell or share browsing data with advertisers.

4. Cookies in the Berryin platform

The logged-in Berryin application uses cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. Disabling those will prevent the application from working.

5. Controlling cookies

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site.

If you want to opt out of analytics specifically, most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" setting, and browser extensions can block analytics scripts.

6. Changes

If we add or remove cookies we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
