Refund & Cancellation Policy
How billing, cancellation, refunds and plan changes work.
Last updated: TODO — set effective date
1. How billing works
Berryin is a subscription. Plans are billed in advance — monthly or annually — in the currency shown on the pricing page, and exclude any applicable taxes.
There is no commission on orders. The subscription is the cost of the platform.
2. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep full access until then.
TODO: confirm the notice period, if any, for monthly and annual plans.
3. Refunds
TODO: confirm the refund position. State plainly whether part-month or part-year refunds are given, and in what circumstances.
Where a refund is agreed, it is returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer.
4. Changing plans
Upgrading takes effect immediately and your data carries across untouched — it is a setting change, not a migration.
Downgrading takes effect at your next renewal, so you keep the higher plan’s features for the period you have paid for.
TODO: confirm how upgrade proration is calculated.
5. Free trials and demos
Demos are free and carry no obligation.
TODO: confirm whether a free trial is offered, its length, and what happens at the end of it.
6. Failed payments
If a payment fails we will contact you and retry before any interruption to service. Extended non-payment may lead to suspension, as set out in the Terms of Service.
Your data is retained for a reasonable period after suspension so you can export it.
7. Getting your data out
Whatever the reason for leaving, your menu, customers and order history remain yours and can be exported. We will not hold your data to keep you subscribed.
